About the RAVIN Program

Established in 1766, Rutgers University–New Brunswick has a longstanding history of excellence, and alumni have been influential in sharing our tradition. Rutgers–New Brunswick alumni can share their pride while giving back to their alma mater by joining the RAVIN program.

The RAVIN program connects Rutgers–New Brunswick alumni to recruitment activities within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. This program provides opportunities for alumni to represent Rutgers–New Brunswick at college fairs outside the Garden State, helping play the important role of expanding our student body with talented and diverse students.

Whether you are exploring the possibility of joining the RAVIN program or are a current member, we encourage you to explore the information and resources below.

Volunteer to Recruit

As an alumni volunteer, you are a crucial component of our efforts to recruit and retain talented students beyond New Jersey.

Thank you for expressing interest in learning more about the RAVIN program. Members of the RAVIN program are an extension of Undergraduate Admissions, providing personal interactions to educate future generations of Scarlet Knights. Providing these students with an alumnus/a perspective is key to the success of the RAVIN program.

RAVIN members are contacted as needed, as the needs of the admissions office vary depending on time of year, geographic locations and applicant pool.
